At The Club, athletes are trained, Attack System style, from early September throughout the season, and are taught the essential skills needed to win at every level of wrestling. Handfighting and positioning is what wins at high levels, and that is what we stress the most. When you watch the state tournament, you see athletes win with handfighting and positioning, leg attacks and counters. That's why these are the core of our training. You rarely see an athlete win the state as a thrower.
Throws are easy to counter and we'll teach you how.
From every position on the mat, you are taught how to score on the best athletes. The home page has more details on our system - be sure to check it out.
Through the years, many of the state's best wrestlers have trained here at the club. State champions dating back from Brad Harris (Pickerington) and Joey Simcoe (Northridge) to, in more recent years, Anthony Ciraky (Westerville South) and Dan Early (DeSales).
Learn essential skills necessary to win at all levels of wrestling! Prepare at the club that has guided many of the area's best wrestlers for over a decade!
2007-08 Locations:
Monday nights, 7:30 - 9:00 pm: Big Walnut
Tuesday nights, 7:30 - 9:00 pm: Pickerington North.
Dates:
Attack Club @ Big Walnut: Every Monday from September 10 through February 25 (off Dec 24, 31 and Jan 7)
Attack Club East (ACE) @ Pickerington North: Every Tuesday from September 11 through February 26 (off Dec 25 & Jan 1)
Cost:
Nonmembers: $10 per night.
