My Wrestling Philosophy

I have taught many athletes how to win at wrestling for many years, and can tell you, in short, what it takes to win: physical and mental toughness, hard training, and excellent technique. The best do this and live this. They go the extra mile - literally - running early in the morning before anyone is up. Pushing harder when they are tired. Doing things right. Basically, doing what others aren't willing to do. Those are the guys that win the close matches when they have to, the guys that own the 3rd period.


Training Sessions

I work with athletes in 2 hour Sessions. Most of the young men I work with come once or twice a week. Some train with me year-round. I work with athletes either on a one on one basis, or 2 - 4 at a time. I will not pair you with someone without talking to you about it first.


If you decide to train with me

You don't have to already be the best to work with me. Most of my most successful athletes started with me when they were young and/or not so successful. But if you want to win, you need to be willing to work for it. The type of individuals I like to train are hard-working, disciplined, clean-cut young athletes. I believe in teaching good technique and good values.
