My Wrestling Philosophy

I have taught many athletes how to win at wrestling for many years, and can tell you, in short, what it takes to win: physical and mental toughness, hard training, and excellent technique. The best do this and live this. They go the extra mile - literally - running early in the morning before anyone is up. Pushing harder when they are tired. Doing things right. Basically, doing what others aren't willing to do. Those are the guys that win the close matches when they have to, the guys that own the 3rd period.

Personal Training Sessions:
Personal Training is the best kind of training you can get. Workouts can be molded to fit an athlete's needs and focus in on that particular athlete.
I work with athletes in 2 hour sessions. Most of the young men I work with come once or twice a week. Some train with me year-round. I work with athletes either on a one on one basis, or 2 - 4 at a time. I will not pair you with someone without talking to you about it first.

Fees:
Cost is $40 per hour or $75 for a two hour session, for a one on one session.
For more than one athlete, the cost is $25 per hour or $50 Per Athlete for a two hour session. Almost all sessions are 2 hours long, but I will make an exception at times. Youth wrestlers, for instance, often go an hour.

Here is our Personal Training Waiver Form, required for all athletes.


Small Group Training: The next best thing to Personal Training. Groups of 10-15 train together in sessions. Athletes are grouped by age and size as much as possible. For Small Group Training, we require a commitment of 3 or 4 weeks at a time, with payment due before the first session in the series. If you have a group who is interested, contact me so we can work out the details. We Do Not Pro-rate for missed sessions or starting late.
