Ohio HS State Wrestling Tournament Results (Finals), March 5-7, 2009
Lakewood St. Edward, St. Paris Graham and Troy Christian all defended their team state
titles Saturday night in Columbus. For St. Edward, it was their 13th straight title, while
Graham
added their 9th straight in D2. In Division 3, Troy Christian narrowly edged out
Monroeville and their 4 state champions, winning the team title by a single point,
the closest team race in nearly 30 years.
Collin Palmer (140 lb, St. Edward), and David Taylor (135 lb, Graham), became the
17th and 18th wrestlers to win 4 titles.
