Attack System Summer Youth Camps Information Page…

Everything you wanted to know about this camp but were afraid to ask!

Welcome to Summer Youth Camps!

“WHERE am I going?"

The camp is located at 10740 Refugee Rd SW, Pataskala OH 43062. For the privacy and safety of all, I do NOT publish this anywhere else. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS.

Our home, and training facility, are located 450 feet off the road, and we are 1/2 mile West of Rte 310, 5 minutes off I-70. We are located on the North side of the road.

Do This Now (requirement – thanks government overreach)

Fill out/mail in advance

  • Copy of insurance card
  • Emergency Medical Release form filled out – bring with you or attach PDF in an email – be sure to point out any allergies
  • Any required medication while at camp: sealed, student name, instructions

**Please note: If you have already attended a previous camp THIS summer, we have the EMR and insurance card on file. You will not have to fill out another one.

What To Bring:

Workout Shirts: At a minimum, 1 per workout (2 per day)

Shorts:  Its good to have a couple shorts per day (1 per day is probably good for the Commuter camp)

Towels: 1 towel a day if showering (or you can borrow ours.)   You will Shower during the day.  If you bring your own towels, place mark your name in them and take them home with you.  As you will see, we have plenty that have been donated to us through the years.

Wrestling Shoes

Athletic shoes (its possibly that you might run outside at some point)

Headgear (recommended but not required)

Deodorant (Pah-Leeeeeze!)

Toothbrush (keep your mom and your orthodontist happy)

For Your Entertainment…

In between sessions, athletes may go for a swim in our outdoor pool (weather permitting of course), play games in the Attack Barn (we have some fun ones in store for them!), or hang out in our fully finished basement, which is equipped with Ping Pong, Air Hockey, and Pool.  You WILL have Fun here!  We also have ample supervision to assure for safety.


Pool Rules

  • You must shower prior to getting in the pool
  • Swimming trunks if getting in the pool (Not permitted to wear shorts you worked out in)
  • Obey all Pool Rules so you don’t get banned from the pool.

What to avoid

NO snacks unless due to a medically documented condition
No Parents on the mats. Parents are NOT required to stay (in fact, it is recommended that you Not stick around, for the benefit and growth of your athlete
Requirement of all parents if at the camp: Do Not coach your athlete, leave it to me. Be a quiet church mouse if you are here.
Avoid sending electronic devices whenever possible.   Kids, take a break from your phones and play with others!
Note: Lunch is provided at all camps.

Day One:

3 – 4 pm:       Arrive/Check-in

4:00  pm:      Parents leave

4 – 4:15 pm:  Weight Check/Skin Check 

4:30 – 6:00:   1st Session

6:30 pm:       Dinner

8 – 9:30:        Training Session 

9:30 – 9:45:   Commuter Pickup

9:30 – 10:30  Showers/Snack

10:30 pm:     Lights out

Day Two: 

8:15 am:           Wakeup

8:30 am:           Breakfast

10 – 12:00 pm: 1st Session

12:30:                Lunch

2:30 – 4:30:       2nd Session

5:00 pm:           Dinner

7:30 – 9:00:       3rd Session 

9:00 – 9:30:       Commuter Pickup

9 – 10:30 pm:   Showers/Snack/ready for bed

10:30 pm:        Bedtime

Day Three:

8:15 am:          Wakeup

8:30 am:          Breakfast

10 – 12:00 pm: 1st Session

12:30 pm:         Lunch

2:30 – 4:00:       2nd Session/Final Exam

4:00 pm:           Parents Arrive/Pick up athletes

Personal Items to bring for the Overnight Takedown Camp:

  • Workout Shorts: At a minimum, 1 pair per day (3), but more are welcome
  • Workout Shirts: At a minimum, 1 per workout (8), extras encouraged
  • Underwear and socks: Many athletes shower during the day as well as at night – which is highly encouraged and welcomed. One pair of socks and underwear per workout would be ideal (8)
  • Towels: You can bring your own or borrow ours.  Showers are REQUIRED for overnight athletes (doesn’t apply to Youth Mat Camp in July)
  • Shower gels, soaps, etc (although the showers are equipped with body wash)
  • Swimming trunks if getting in the pool (Not permitted to wear shorts you worked out in)
  • Wrestling Shoes
  • Running Shoes (these don’t include sandals!)

Note: Always a good idea to mark your clothes! Name, initials, etc.

Sleeping Arrangements for overnight campers

Athletes are welcome to stay overnight at this camp at no additional charge.
We do not have a dorm here. Wrestlers will sleep on the mats or in sleeping bags (cots are welcome too). With this in mind, be sure you bring what you need to be comfortable: pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, air mattresses if you’d like. We do not provide linens so be sure to bring your own.
